Auction principle
Auctions allow players to sell items to one another. The server can define a dedicated channel; otherwise, Luméo uses configured fallback channels.
Listing an item
The item is removed from the Bag and placed in escrow as soon as the listing is actually published. The seller cannot bid on their own auction.
Bids
The highest bid is genuinely reserved. When a player is outbid, their money is refunded automatically. Under the configured rules, a sale must have at least two distinct bidders to be validated.
End of sale
A 5% economy tax is deducted from the final amount. The seller receives the balance and the winner receives the item. If the minimum requirement is not met, the item and funds are returned.
Anti-sniping and restart
A late bid can extend the auction. Persistent state allows recovery after a restart without duplicating delivery or payment.
Checks
Verify the listing, quantity, price, and server before confirming. The auction channel may be different from the channel where the private interface was opened.
