Configure the Quiz module on a server

Enable the module, choose the community channel, and manage active topics or questions with safeguards.

Administrative access

Configuration actions require the permissions defined by the server. Luméo checks permissions again on every click: removing a permission while a panel is open must block the next action.

Module state

Quiz can be enabled, suspended, or placed in maintenance depending on the available tools. Maintenance should clearly explain why the game is temporarily unavailable without deleting preferences or statistics.

Community channel

Configure a channel on the same server where Luméo has permission to:

  • View Channel;
  • Send Messages;
  • Embed Links;
  • Read Message History.

Diagnostics must reject a destination on another server or a channel with incomplete permissions.

Active topics and questions

Administration can suspend an official topic or question for the current server. Safeguards require at least:

  • one active topic;
  • two active questions.

The official source is never modified. Only the server's configuration references are stored.

Diagnostics and repair

Diagnostics can display the version, schema, bank fingerprint, and unknown references without revealing correct answers.

Repair removes only references that have become invalid. Reset re-enables the complete catalog after stronger confirmation.

Administrative concurrency

When two administrators edit the same question, the second must receive a conflict instead of silently overwriting the version that was already saved.

Isolation

Configuration, custom question bank, sanctions, statistics, and active games are stored with the server identifier. An action performed here must never modify another community.
