Discover Luméo moderation tools

Overview of the Moderation Hub, member records, sanctions, and Luméo's community protections.

Overview

The Moderation module brings together the tools used by the team responsible for protecting and organizing a Discord community. Access depends on the permissions configured on each server.

Main features

Depending on configuration and granted permissions, a moderator can notably:

  • open the Moderation Hub and view the available actions;
  • review a member's record before making a decision;
  • apply an appropriate sanction and preserve its audit trail;
  • use authorized channel tools;
  • review logs useful for tracking events;
  • check AutoMod activity.

Human review

An alert or report must not automatically become a permanent sanction. The team checks the context, available information, and server rules before deciding.

Limited permissions

Moderation tools should be reserved for trusted roles. Permission to view a log should not automatically grant access to the most serious sanctions.

Audit trail

Sensitive actions must retain the author, date, target, reason, and result. This audit trail makes it possible to review a decision without publicly exposing internal information.

Serious content

Luméo protects its own service and helps provide the useful identifiers to Discord. The team must not download or copy potentially illegal content into the Wiki or internal tools.
