Goal
Create your first Pokémon save on the chosen Discord server, confirm the game mode and starter, then verify that the progression appears in the correct place.
Before you begin
- Luméo must be present on the server;
- the Pokémon module must be enabled by the owner or authorized team;
- at least one game mode and one generation must be available;
- the Discord account used must be the one you want to keep your progression on.
Each server has its own saves. A profile created in one community never replaces a profile from another server.
Step 1 — Open starter selection
Use /starter in a channel where Luméo is allowed to operate. The interface displays the available modes, their rules, and the choices compatible with the server configuration.
Take time to read the displayed information before confirming. Some decisions, especially in Nuzlocke, can have permanent consequences for the save.
Step 2 — Choose the game mode
Select one of the available modes:
- Relaxed for more flexible progression;
- Classic for the complete main adventure;
- Nuzlocke for an independent save with strict rules.
The server owner can limit the available modes. The choice remains tied to the relevant save and never mixes teams, items, or statistics from other modes.
Step 3 — Choose your starter Pokémon
Luméo displays only starters allowed by the generations enabled on the server. Verify the Pokémon name, selected mode, and server before confirming.
Once the choice is confirmed, the profile is created and the starter joins the active team. Do not repeatedly confirm in an attempt to obtain a different result.
Step 4 — Check the essential screens
Then open the main interfaces:
/dresseurfor the profile, level, currency, and overall progression;/teamfor the active team, evolutions, and contextual actions;/boxfor the collection and Pokémon outside the team;/pokedexfor progress across available generations;/bagfor items, TMs, and adventure resources.
At the beginning, some sections may naturally be empty. They fill in after the first catches, battles, and rewards.
Step 5 — Verify website synchronization
After linking the same Discord account to the Luméo website:
- open your member area;
- select the server where the save was just created;
- verify that the starter and first statistics appear on the Pokémon card.
Synchronization respects multi-server isolation: selecting another server displays only the corresponding progression.
If something goes wrong
Check in this order:
- the Discord server currently open;
- whether the Pokémon module is enabled;
- the allowed modes and generations;
- Luméo's permissions in the channel;
- the Discord account linked to the website;
- the server selected in the member area.
If the interface temporarily says Luméo is not responding but the action eventually succeeds, avoid repeated clicks. Retry only after confirming that the first interaction produced no result.
Continue the adventure
Next, read Pokémon game modes to compare the rules, then View your Pokémon progression on the website to understand all synchronized information.
